Who are we on the net?

Why do we need to  escape from our reality? The answer isn't difficult: the reality is very hard. We must fight with ourselves when we see the violence or the death of the innocent children who live in a country rich in petroleum. The technology become in a door of many possibilities, the possibility to escape or connect to the people, the possibility of being better or sadly being worse.

We can see in the movie "Ghost in the Shell" (1995) that happens in a future time, that people replace the parts from their bodies that not longer work, an eye, a leg, even the brain can be reconstructed with artificial parts. This allows that people been more efficient, some of them can be connected with various agents for a mission without cables or telephones, just ordering to the brain to do it.
In the movie "Her" (2013) the people need a little device (handsfree Bluetooth) for stay connected. It's possible to say that the difference is a matter of time. But when we really are there we must keep fighting because being more physically efficient does not mean being better people.
The problem in "Ghost in the Shell" is that the detective Motoko Kusanagi, who is the main character and who is totally rebuilt, tries to define her essence, her ghost. She can fight better, she is faster and more intelligent, maybe the most intelligent person, and she has the possibility of connecting to the network and look for all kind of information, exactly like Samantha,  the secondary character in the movie "Her". This journey through the network opens up millions of possibilities that confuse and attract these characters.

Samantha who is an operative system discovered a lot of information in a few seconds and finally she decided to leave her form of existence like O.S. and with this she also left her owner and boyfriend Theodore, who was a real person. When she said goodbye to Theodore she asked him to look for her when he is there in a future. Is that possible for us? When we have the option to connect to a network, will we remain the same? Will we been able to distinguish our 'ghost'? We must be prepared, not only in the scientific, but also morally and spiritually and for been able to use the technology properly, connecting us for being better human beings and not to escape from our reality.
